Did you know... what business this was and where it was located? This is the Willis side entrance to the Spurgeon's Store. Spurgeon's was located on 2nd Street but then wrapped around Conklin Jewelry on the corner of 2nd and Willis. Spurgeon's housed not only their main store on the ground floor but also used part of their basement. Gone are Penney's, Wards and Anthony's. These and more have now left towns all over the Midwest. With everything that has happened to our community, now more than ever, all of us need to do everything we can to support our community and our neighbors. Shop locally to save all the jobs that make up Perry today.
